How to avoid fire danger

  • Pay attention to electrical devices in your house. For example, you should not miss your laptop on the bed for along time, as it may get too hot.
  • You should not use defective electrical devices, like TVs, microwaves, or toasters, but they must be changed or fixed first.
  • Combustible materials should not be put close to the stove; like kitchen towels and potholders.
  • Also, when you use oil for cooking, you should be near to the pots so you can quickly put out the fire caused by the oil, and remove the pot out of the oven.
  • Periodically clean kitchen ventilation van that over which accumulated fats may cause a fire
  • While charging your mobile phone, don’t put it next to combustible materials
  • Don’t leave lighted candles in a room you are not staying in, don’t put them beside each other, and do not put them beside combustible materials like paper decorations.
  • Don’t smoke while you are in bed, and it’s better not to smoke inside the house.
  • Put away matchboxes and lighters out of kids’ reach
  • Install fire alarms in your kids’ room; since it’s the first place where your kids go when they get matchboxes. And if a fire breaks out, they may try to put it out before telling the adults
  • In case of thunder and lightning, it’s recommended to turn off electricity and remove power cords of all electrical devices
  • Put combustible materials away from fire sources, like stoves, heaters, birthday candles, or chemical products like benzene, kerosene, sprays, or others
