About New Qina City
New Qina is one of the third-generation cities (Among the most important third-generation cities, including The New Administrative Capital, El Shorouk City, Sheikh Zayed). The Egyptian government aims to build this city to enhance the investment opportunity in Upper Egypt in general and in Qina City in particular.
The city was built under the Republican decree No. 197 of 2000, as it stipulated the establishment of a new city in Qina as an extension of the city of Qina, which is 8 kilometers away, covering a total area of 24.2 thousand feddans, and is considered as the second city to be built directly on the east of the Nile.

The City covers a total area of 24,2 thousand feddans, about 7,000 feddans of which have been allocated to the urban mass, while the rest area is dedicated to the services, industrial zones and green spaces. The City is divided as follows:

Housing Sector in New Qina City
The population plan targets 700,000 residents upon the completion of its full phases, and the Ministry of Housing has been keen on providing diverse housing units in it to suit all different social classes. Many residential units in the City have been completed, including:
