New Cairo is one of the best and the most demanded cities in Egypt right now. It has a perfect location at the east of Cairo and has many luxurious compound and districts. It is divided into the first, third and fifth settlements while some think it only has only fifth settlement which is one of its districts.
Features of New Cairo
Compared to Cairo, New Cairo has better urban design with quiet streets and lower population density.

Teseen road: the most famous street in the city
Teseen street lies in is the main axis of New Cairo, and there are actually two streets having the same name, the northern and the southern ones where the southern one is the most famous. The street starts at the ring road and reaches until Ismailia road for the northern and Sokhna road for the southern.
Many companies are headquartered on southern Teseen street alongside many banks, services, hospitals, restaurants, cafes and luxurious villas.
Among the top landmarks also are Cairo Festival City and major hospitals. The street has already heavy traffic although the fifth settlement and New Cairo aren’t yet fully inhabited which is not promising. Lotus district
Lotus is one of the relatively newer districts in New Cairo and can be accessible through the main Teseen road. The district is near a number of vital locations as it lies opposite to the American university as Teseen road only lies between them. The district is divided into the north and south Lotus while the southern part is better maybe due to its near location to the American university which is a reason of why the units of New Cairo are high priced as it has many services around it.
The northern Lotus district is divided into 5 sub districts from the first to the fifth while the southern Lotus is divided into 6 sub districts from the sixth to the eleventh. The whole district has a percentage of 30 percent green areas and landscapes in addition to entertainment, commercial and administrative services. The district is also characterized by being on a high mand need Rehab, Madinat and some of the top landmarks in New Cairo city.
Northern Investors district
The district is characterized by being aligned with Rehab city, as it lies in Sadat axis and near Suez road. The district was given to the real estate development companies earlier before the built a number of compounds at different levels including Al Patio, Hayati Residence, Water Way, Sun Site, Al Ashrafea, Plague and Central Bank club.
Southern Investors district
The district lies between the southern Teseen road, Gamal Abdelnaser axis and Mohamed Naguib axis. The district is formed from a number of compounds that offer various life levels. The district is aligned with the American university and among the compounds in it are Concord, Moon Valley, The Fledge, Jazeera Park, Dorra and The Villa.
The district also has a number of other medium level projects like Zizinia, Arabia and Ganaty.
