The Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, announced offering several Youth Housing units in Badr City for reservation for those wishing to purchase any of them.
The Egyptian government announced the release of a large number of apartments, amounting to 10,000 apartments within the Youth Housing in Badr City, which were allocated for employees and workers in the New Administrative Capital.
It also defined payment systems, as well as methods for reserving these apartments.
Badr City is one of the most prominent projects of the Egyptian government. The government created the city for the purpose of expansion of Cairo.
Founded in the 80s of the last century, Badr City is one of the cities built for middle class.
Badr City location
Badr City lies on the Cairo-Suez road, at kilo 48, near New Cairo, about 50 minutes away from it.
It is 45 minutes away from the new administrative capital, and 60 minutes from Cairo International Airport, as well as from the ring road.
It is also about 40 minutes from the center of the capital, Cairo.
Area of the City
The government has allocated a very large plot of land for the construction of Badr City, with a total of 18,000 feddans.
As for the units proposed for reservation in Badr City, they are located in the eastern expansions of the city, in front of the new El Rubiky Road.
It is one of the most recent areas that the Egyptian government aims to develop in urban areas.
Badr City has several residential areas, as follows:
- First district
- Third district
- Al Motamayez district

Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities offered 10,000 apartments in Badr City in various areas.
The price per square meter of the residential apartment reaches EGP 3,550, in projects of Egypt Housing, Dar Misr, EBNY BETAK, and other projects.
The Egyptian government has also provided the city with many distinguished services.
There are many schools, hospitals, places of worship, shops, and markets, as well as commercial malls.
Moreover, the government took into consideration the spreading of green spaces inside the city. This came with the aim of spreading the pure and peaceful atmosphere inside.
Units and Payment Systems
Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities announced the housing units in Badr City as part of the Youth Housing project, which was allocated to employees and workers of the new administrative capital.
The area of these apartments is 118 m2. The apartment consists of a hall, 3 rooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen with full finishes.
As for payment systems, it offers facilities including paying a 25% down payment due to the seriousness of the matter. The rest of the amount will be in installments over 3 years.
Installments are as following:
- First Payment: For allocation, you will pay 5% of the value of the reserved housing unit.
- Second payment: You will pay 5% of the amount when contracting the housing unit that you booked in Youth Housing.
- Third payment: Upon receipt. You will pay 15% of the total amount.
After that, you will pay the rest of the amount in equal quarterly installments. These installments are over 15 years, with interest gradually decreasing.
7% of the value of the apartment will be paid at Youth Housing. This will be used as a maintenance deposit for the apartment for any damages.
