It is one of the most important projects that had received a great deal of attention since it was just an idea. It covers an area of 40 feddans. The neighborhood carries the character of ancient Alexandria, influenced by the Roman and Greek architecture; therefore it was named the Latin Neighborhood.

The Latin neighborhood is located south of the new Alamein, near the old heritage city, and includes 12,555 residential units. they started working in these units in November 2018 and is planned to be finished and submitted in June 2020.

The New Urban Communities Authority has assigned the Latin Neighborhood project to 6 major contracting companies, including GAMA, for the implementation of housing units.

Gamma Company was established in 1991. The company is one of the most prominent contracting companies. It has contributed to most major national projects supervised by competent governmental bodies, such as the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces and the New Urban Communities Authority.

The company operates in three sectors: the factories sector, the buildings sector, and the infrastructure sector.

Its most important residential projects include: the first phase in the Latin Neighborhood, the second phase of Oriana residential  for Al-Futtaim Group, and Mivida villas.

The residential buildings include two models varying between a ground floor and 4 upper floors, and a ground and 7 upper floors.
